Loft Insulation Top-Up
A top-up adds new mineral wool over the insulation you already have, bringing the total to 270mm. We check the existing layer is clean and dry first, so nothing is hidden underneath.

Loft Insulation Removal
When existing insulation is wet, mouldy, soiled by rodents or badly crushed, topping it up just hides the problem. We clear it out, clean the loft, deal with the cause and lay fresh insulation.

Loft Inspection
A loft inspection tells you what is really in your loft and what, if anything, it needs. We measure the insulation, check for damp, ventilation problems and pests, and give you a written recommendation.

Raised Loft Boarding
Raised loft boarding uses loft legs to lift the boards above the insulation. You get safe storage space without crushing the insulation that keeps the house warm.

Loft Ladders
A fitted metal loft ladder makes the loft safe and easy to reach. We measure for the right ladder, enlarge the hatch where needed and insulate and draught-strip the hatch door.

SuperFOIL Insulation
SuperFOIL is a thin multifoil insulation fixed to the underside of the roof. It suits attic rooms, low-pitched roofs and lofts used for storage, where 270mm of wool on the floor is not practical.

Loft Ventilation
An insulated loft is a cold loft, and it needs air moving through it to carry moisture away. We clear blocked eaves, fit vent trays and reduce the damp air getting into the loft.

Mould & Condensation
Loft mould is nearly always caused by condensation: more moist air getting into the loft than can get out. We fix the ventilation, the hatch and the insulation, then treat the mould.

Rodent Proofing
We find where rodents are getting into the loft, seal those gaps and clear out soiled insulation before laying new. We work alongside your pest controller where there is an active infestation.
